Generalizations of intersection homology and perverse sheaves with duality over the integers (Q2286438)

The aim of this paper is to introduce generalized Deligne sheaves on topological stratified pseudo-manifolds for which there is a quasi isomorphism of sheaf complexes `realizing' Poincaré duality. The essential novelty here is that the sheaves are torsion sensitive. This is achieved by extending the notion of perversity to take values in \({\mathbb Z} \ \times \ {\mathbb P}(P(R))\), where \(P(R)\) is the set of primes (up to unit) of a suitably chosen PID \(R\), and \({\mathbb P}(P(R))\) is its power set.
