This paper is a continuation of the authors' earlier paper [Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 39, No. 1, 219--239 (2019; Zbl 1406.35369)]. The authors study the long time behavior of the solutions to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with 4th order anisotropic dispersion \[ i\partial_t u+\frac{1}{2}\Delta u-\frac{1}{4}\partial_{x_1}^4=\lambda |u|^{p-1}u, \] for \(x\in \mathbb R^d\), where \(p>1\) and \(\lambda\neq 0\). The authors prove the long range scattering when \(d=2\), and prove non-existence of asymptotically free solution for \(d\geq 2\) and \(1<p\leq 1+2/d\).
