Let \(\Sigma\) be a compact metric space. The \textit{farthest point map} on \(\Sigma\) associates each point \(p\) of \(\Sigma\) to the set of the points of \(\Sigma\) which are at maximal distance from \(p\). In this paper, the author focuses in the case where \(\Sigma\) is a convex centrally symmetric polyhedral surface equipped with the intrinsic path metric. Denoting by \(F\) the farthest point map of \(\Sigma\), and by \(\phi\) the antipodal map of \(\Sigma\) (this is well-defined because \(\Sigma\) is symmetric), the author studies the dynamics of the map \(f = F\circ \phi\). It is proven that \(f\) has no generalized periodic points and that every orbit of \(f\) forms a convergent sequence. Some properties of limit sets (i.e., sets of limit points of orbits) are also described.
