Let $Y$ be a closed subspace of a Banach space $X$. Let \(\lambda (Y,X)=\inf\{\| \pi\|, \pi \in \Pi(X,Y)\}\), where \(\Pi(X, Y)\) denotes the set of all linear projections from \(X\) onto \(Y\). If \(\lambda (Y,X)\) is attained by \(\|\pi\|\), then \(\pi\) is said to be a minimal projection. Let \(\Delta(X, Y)\) denote the subset of \(\Pi(X, Y)\) consisting of all minimal projections. In the case that \(\Delta(X, Y)\) consists of only one element, the pair \((X,Y)\) is said to possess the uniqueness property. Let \(Y_{2n-2}\) be a \((2n-2)\)-dimensional subspace of \( \ell_\infty^{2n}\). A projection \(\pi_0: \ell_\infty^{2n} \longrightarrow Y_{2n-2}\) is said to be strongly unique if there exists \(k \in (0, 1]\) such that \(\|\pi_0\| + k\|\pi-\pi_0\| \leq \|\pi\|\) for any \(\pi \in \Pi( \ell_\infty^{2n}, Y_{2n-2})\). Such a constant \(k\) is called a strong uniqueness constant. In this paper it is shown that a projection \(\pi_{\alpha, \beta} \in \Pi( \ell_\infty^{2n}, Y_{2n-2})\) of the form \[ \pi_{\alpha, \beta}(x)=\alpha f(x)-\beta g(x) \] is strongly unique, where \(\alpha, \beta \in \ell_\infty^{2n}\) and \(f, g\) are linear functionals on \(\ell_\infty^{2n}\) of the form \(f=(\underbrace{1, r, \dots, r}_n, \underbrace{0, \dots, 0}_n)\), \(g=(\underbrace{0, \dots, 0}_n, \underbrace{r, \dots, r,1}_n)\) such that \(f(\alpha)=g(\beta)=1\), \(f(\beta)=g(\alpha)=0\). Moreover, the maximal value \(k\) of the strong uniqueness constant is evaluated.
