    This paper deals with positive blowing-up solutions to the heat equation with nonlinear boundary condition \[ \begin{cases} u_t=\Delta u x\in \mathbb{R}^n_+,\quad t\in(0,T), \\ \partial_\nu u=u^q x\in \partial\mathbb{R}^n_+,\quad t\in(0,T), \\ u=u_0\geq 0 x\in \mathbb{R}^n_+,\quad t=0, \end{cases} \] where \(\mathbb{R}^n_+=\big\{x=(x',x_n)\in \mathbb{R}^{n-1}\times \mathbb{R}\colon\ x_n>0\big\},\) \(\partial_nu=-\partial/\partial x_n\) and \(1 < q < n/(n-2).\) The initial data \(u_0\) is assumed to be \(x_n\)-axially symmetric, i.e., it depends only on \(|x'|\) and \(x_n\). The author provides a precise description of the blowing-up profile \[ U(x)=\lim_{t\to T} u(x,t), \] of the solution \(u(x,t)\) that blows up at \(t=T,\) \(\limsup_{t\to T}\|u(t)\|_\infty=\infty.\) The proof is based on suitable pointwise estimates for the solutions near the blowup points, obtained by the study of a stationary problem for some rescaled equations.
