The authors present a theory of paracontrolled distributions on unbounded Bravais lattices, derive Schauder estimates for general random walk semigroups and develop a general machinery for the use of discrete Wick contractions in the renormalization of discrete singular SPDEs with i.i.d. noise. The results are then applied to prove a weak universality theorem for the parabolic Anderson model, i.e., that solutions of a discrete non-linear parabolic Anderson model exist and, if scaled suitably, converge in law to the unique solution of the continuous linear parabolic Anderson model.
