There are many studies that have been developed in the field of harvest optimization related to the age dynamics of the population. However, in the biological populations considered in the literature, a person's age was not always accurately estimated by his size, although there is a definite relationship between age and size. The article explores some of the optimal harvesting problems regarding age-related population dynamics. The aim of the work is to maximize profits depending on the size of the harvest, taking into account this feature. For each problem studied (fishing or hunting), the necessary optimality conditions are formulated, which are used to obtain the optimal control structure. An iterative algorithm has been proposed for a hunting problem in order to improve cleaning efforts at each stage to increase profits. Numerical tests are conducted to show that the proposed methods are effective. All theoretically statements of the article are proved by theorems, numerical experiments are carried out.
