This article investigates the regularity of solutions of Navier Stokes equations for incompressible fluids in 3D. In two dimensional space it is well known that the solution of these equations are global and smooth provided the initial data are smooth enough. In three dimensional space, existence of global smooth solutions is a well known open problem. In this article the authors prove the existence of global smooth solutions for initial data which are close to two dimensional ones. Roughly speaking, the solution is smooth provided \(\partial_z u_3\) is small with respect to \(u_h\) in \(H^{-1/2,0}\). This in particular gives exemple of global solutions which are large in \(B^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}\). This paper is part of a current effort to obtain global solutions close to two dimensional ones. The link with the literature is discussed in details in the introduction.
