The cylindric partitions were introduced by \textit{I. Gessel} and \textit{C. Krattenthaler} in [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 349, No. 2, 429--479 (1997; Zbl 0865.05003)]. In this interesting paper, the authors consider cylindric partitions of profile \(c\), where \(c\) is a composition of four into exactly three non-negative parts, in order to provide a new proof of the four \(A_2\) Rogers-Ramanujan identities. These identities was originally proved by \textit{G. E. Andrews} et al. in [J. Am. Math. Soc. 12, No. 3, 677--702 (1999; Zbl 0917.05010)]. A similar fifth identity conjectured in [\textit{B. Feigin} et al., Ramanujan J. 17, No. 1, 33--52 (2008; Zbl 1244.05028)] is proved in this context.
