The authors investigate a certain class of partitions with an exceedingly strict congruence condition on parts, for which partitions they name as ``sequentially congruent partitions''. The authors establish a bijection between the set of sequentially congruent partitions with the largest part $n$ and the set of partitions of $n$. Moreover, sequentially congruent partitions induce a bijection between partitions of $n$ and partitions of length $n$ whose parts obey a strict``frequency congruence'' condition, the authors prove some families of bijections, connecting to the theory of partition ideals of \textit{G. E. Andrews} [Groupe d'Etude d'Algebre, 1re Annee 1975/76, Exp. 6, 8 p. (1978; Zbl 0383.10008)].
