Richaud-Degert real quadratic fields and Maass waveforms (Q2299126)

Based on authors' abstract: In the paper under review, the authors place the work of [\textit{G. E. Andrews} et al., Invent. Math. 91, No. 3, 391--407 (1988; Zbl 0642.10012)] and \textit{H. Cohen} [Invent. Math. 91, No. 3, 409--422 (1988; Zbl 0642.10013)], relating arithmetic in \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{6})\) to modularity of Ramanujan's function \(\sigma(q)\), in the context of the general family of Richaud-Degert real quadratic fields \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{2p})\). Moreover, they give the resulting generalizations of the function \(\sigma\) as indefinite theta functions and invoke \textit{S. P. Zwegers}'s work [Q. J. Math. 63, No. 3, 753--770 (2012; Zbl 1254.11045)], to prove the modular properties of the completed functions.
