Consider an arbitrary function \(f(x) \) with domain \([0, +\infty)\). We assume that \(p\) is a fixed real number different from 1. The purpose of this article is to continue the research on \(p\)-calculus, which starts with the \(p\)-derivative \[ D_pf(x)=\frac{f(x^p)-f(x)}{x^p-x}.\tag{1} \] Note that the main reference [Tbil. Math. J. 10, No. 2, 15--28 (2017; Zbl 1358.05033)] was written by the same authors. The differentiation formulas, which are similar to \(q\)-calculus, are slightly more uncomfortable. But the formulas for \(p\)-derivative of the product and the quotient of functions are very similar to \(q\)-calculus and pleasant. The formula on top of page 161 can also be found in [loc. cit.]. The definite \(p\)-integral, formula (1.3) is formula (4.1) in [loc. cit.]. It corresponds to the area of the union of an infinite number of rectangles. Then some mean value theorems are proved. Finally, it is shown that an increasing function has positive \(p\)-derivative.
