Let \(G\) be a Brauer tree having \(n\) edges with an arbitrary multiplicity, and \(A_G\) the Brauer tree algebra associated to \(G\). On one hand, one can define the simplicial complex \(\Delta(A_G)\) of \(A_G\) by the set of isoclasses of basic 2-term pretilting complexes in the bounded homotopy category of finitely generated projective \(A_G\)-module category, and further, the \(f\)-vector, \(f\)-polynomial, \(h\)-vector and \(h\)-polynomial of \(\Delta(A_G)\). On the other hand, one can define the \(g\)-polytope \({\mathcal P}(A_G)\) of \(A_G\) by the set of isoclasses of basic 2-term tilting complexes in the bounded homotopy category of finitely generated projective \(A_G\)-module category, which is a lattice polytope of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) admitting a unimodular triangulation. In this paper, the authors show the symmetry and convexity of the lattice polytope \({\mathcal P}(A_G)\). Via a geometric interpretation of derived equivalence, they prove that the \(f\)-vector and \(h\)-vector of \(\Delta(A_G)\) only depend on the number \(n\), and hence they are derived invariant. In particular, the number of isoclasses of basic 2-term tilting complexes or support \(\tau\)-tilting modules, is a derived invariant. Moreover, they apply their result to the enumeration problem of Coxeter-biCatalan combinatorics.
