A quantum logic \(L\) is an orthomodular lattices with an infinite number of states. An \(s\)-map (a map for simultaneous measurements) on \(L\) is a map \(L^2\to [0,1]\) generalizing the probability of the meet (conjunction) that need not exist. An \(s\)-map might be used to define conditional probabilities for incompatible random events. An \(n\)-variate \(s\)-map is a generalization of an \(s\)-map for mappings \(L^n \to [0,1]\). The authors give a necessary and sufficient condition for a commutative bivariate \(s\)-map to have a trivariate extension and show that this condition is not sufficient for extending a trivariate \(s\)-map to a 4-variate \(s\)-map.
