This paper presents a detailed study of the spectrum of Schrödinger operators on a metric graph describing a carbon nanotube, with the addition of impurities described by a delta-function potential at a finite number of nodes. In particular, it is proved that the impurities, when sufficiently strong, give rise to eigenvalues which are embedded in the spectral bands.
