In this article, the electromagnetic interior transmission problem for an inhomogeneous medium with conductive boundary is considered. It plays an important role in the study of inverse scattering problems. Here, the author proves that corresponding interior transmission eigenvalues form a discrete set. Additionally, the author shows the existence of such eigenvalues. The underlying technique employed is a variety of variational techniques assuming various assumptions on the index of refraction.
