A bijection for Euler's partition theorem in the spirit of Bressoud (Q2301910)

For each positive integer \(n\), the author constructs a bijection between the odd partitions of \(n\) and the distinct partitions of \(n\). The bijection extends a bijection due to \textit{D. M. Bressoud} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 79, 338--340 (1980; Zbl 0443.05009)] between the odd and distinct partitions of \(n \) and the splitting partitions of \(n\). The author then compares the constructed bijection with the classical bijections of Glaisher and Sylvester, and also with the one recently constructed by \textit{W. Y. C. Chen} et al. [Ramanujan J. 23, No. 1--3, 137--149 (2010; Zbl 1218.05020)].
