Deformational properties of groups of lead-preserving diffeomorphisms of codimension one foliations with Morse-Bott singularities are studied. For a Morse-Bott function \(f \colon M \rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) on a compact manifold denote by \(\mathcal{S} (f)\) the group of diffeomorphisms \(h\) of \(M\) which preserve \(f\), i.e.\ which satisfy \(f\circ h = f\). Since the critical points \(\Sigma_f\) of \(f\) form a closed submanifold, one can consider the restriction map \(\rho \colon \mathcal{S}(f) \rightarrow \mathrm{Diff} (\Sigma_f), h \mapsto h|_{\Sigma_f}\). The authors prove that \(\rho\) is a locally trivial fibration over its image. As a consequence, this allows to relate the homotopy groups of leaf-preserving diffeomorphisms of certain foliations and the subgroup of these diffeomorphisms fixed on the singular set of the foliation.
