The authors extended the notion of finite dimensional holomorphic homogeneous regular (HHR) manifolds to infinite dimensional domains in complex Banach spaces. It was proved that an HHR domain \(D\) in a complex Banach space \(V\) is a domain of holomorphy and so is pseudonvex. If \(D\) is a bounded symmetric domain, the authors defined the rank of \(D\) in terms of the Jordan structures of \(V\) and obtained that \(D\) is HHR if and only if it is of finite rank. In this case, \(D\) is biholomorphic to a finite product of irreducible bounded symmetric domains. In addition, it was introduced the concept of uniformly elliptic domains which generalizes the notion of strong convexity; these domains are bounded convex ones that satisfy certain conditions without the assumption of a smooth boundary. It was showed that such domains are HHR in Hilbert spaces. The authors also computed the greatest lower bound of the squeezing function for all finite dimensional irreducible bounded symmetric domains, including the two exceptional 16-dimensional domain \(D_{16}\) and 27-dimensional domain \(D_{27} \) which are realized as the open unit balls of the JB*-triples \(M_{1,2}(\mathbb{O})\) and the \( H_3 (\mathbb{O})\), respectively, where \[ M_{1,2} = \{ 1 \times 2 \,\,\mathrm{matrices \,\, over \,\, the \,\, Cayley \,\, algebra }\, \mathbb{O}\},\] and \[ H_3(\mathbb{O}) = \{ 3 \times 3 \,\,\mathrm{hermitian \,\, matrices \,\, over }\, \mathbb{O}\}.\]
