The authors consider a nonlocal fractional Cauchy problem with conformable fractional derivative. The problem related to this derivative can be converted into a problem with ordinary derivative with some extra term, but the advantage is that this derivative satisfies the properties of the classical one and can be used for non-regular functions. The main result of the paper is to establish existence, uniqueness, stability of the mild solution. The authors establish the Duhamel formula for this setup. Examples are given to illustrate the analytical findings.
