The purpose of this article is to study critical orbits, critical points, the structure of the set of such points and the critical orbit index of a strongly indefinite functional of the Neumann problem for non-cooperative semi-linear elliptic systems. The authors apply the results obtained to study the global bifurcation of solutions to systems of differential equations from the critical orbit. Conditions for the existence of unbounded continua of solutions of such problems are proved. All results of the work are obtained under the assumption that the set of trivial solutions has the form \(\{0\}\times\mathbb{R}\).
