If \(G\) is a finite group one may hope to determine \(G\) up to isomorphisms using certain numerical invariants. Invariants like \(|G|\), the sum of orders of the elements of \(G\) and the product of orders of the elements of \(G\) were all considered and found insufficient for the purpose. Even combinations of two or more of such invariants are not sufficient to determine \(G\) uniquely. But there are special cases where this approach is working. The authors consider the invariant \(\Psi' (G)\), which is the product of the orders of all elements of \(G\) and they show, by elaborate case by case analysis, that \(\Psi' (G)\) uniquely determines \(\mathrm{PSL}(2, 7)\) and \(\mathrm{PSL}(2, 11)\). They also show that \(|G|\) combined with \(\Psi' (G)\) uniquely determine the groups \(\mathrm{PSL}(2, 5)\) and \(\mathrm{PSL}(2, 13)\).
