Several results about hypercyclicity and subspace-hypercyclicity for abelian semigroups \(G\) of \(n \times n\) matrices of real or complex numbers are presented. Here are some of them. (1) The authors provide a method to check that a given abelian semigroup is subspace-hypercyclic. (2) They construct a nontrivial example of an abelian semigroup that has a dense orbit relative to a certain straight line but it is not subspace-hypercyclic for this straight line. (3) They determine the minimal number of diagonalizable matrices over \(\mathbb{C}\) that generate a subspace-hypercyclic abelian semigroup on \(\mathbb{C}^n\). (4) They prove that \(G^k\) is subspace-hypercyclic whenever \(G\) is a subspace-hypercyclic abelian semigroup of matrices on \(\mathbb{C}^n\).
