The system describing chemotaxis phenomena \[ u_t=\Delta u-\nabla\cdot(uS(u,v)\nabla v), \] \[ v_t=\Delta v-uv, \] with a smooth bounded sensitivity function \(S\), is considered in the balls of \({\mathbb R}^n\), supplemented with the homogeneous Neumann conditions. The author constructs global, radially symmetric renormalized solutions defined through a suitable approximation procedure. Then, in the two-dimensional case, the mass conservation property and convergence to homogeneous steady states are shown for these solutions.
