In this paper the author studies and investigates the connection between the subject areas of topological games and consonant spaces. Let $Y$ be a set and $\mathbb{D},\mathbb{E} \subseteq \mathcal{P}(Y)$. Then the game $G_1(\mathbb{D},\mathbb{E})$ is played on $Y$ as follows. There are $\omega$-many rounds and in each round Player One picks an element $D$ of $\mathbb{D}$ and next Player Two picks an element of $D$. The author gives in the introduction and the preliminaries all the necessary basic notions concerning the results of the paper. The main results of this paper are the following theorems: \textbf{Theorem A.} Let $X$ be a compact Hausdorff space and $\{A, B\}$ be a partition of $X$ such that $A$ is a Menger space. The following conditions are equivalent: \begin{itemize} \item[(a)] Player One has no winning strategy in the game $G_1(O_k(A), O(A))$, \item[(b)] Player One has no winning strategy in the game $G_1(K(B), S(B))$, \item[(c)] $B$ is consonant, \item[(d)] For every strategy $S$ of Player One in the game $G_1(O_k(A), O(A))$ there is an $x\in \overline{S}$ such that $A \subseteq \cap_{n\in \omega}\cup_{k\geq n}x(k)$ \item[(e)] For every strategy $S$ of Player One in the game $G_1(K(B), S(B))$ there is an $x \in \overline{S}$ such that $\{x(k): n \geq k\} \in S(X)$ for every $n\in \omega$. \end{itemize} A topological space $X $ has Property $P$ provided that for any sequence $(K_n)_{n\in \omega}$ of compact subsets of $X$ there is a sequence of closed sets $(L_n)_{n\in \omega}$ such that $K_n \subseteq int(L_n)$ and $\{L_n : n \in \omega\} \in S(X)$. \textbf{Theorem B.} Let $B$ be a subset of a compact Hausdorff space $X$. If $B$ has Property $P$ and is dense in $X$, then $X \setminus B$ is a Menger space. If $X \setminus B$ is a Menger space, then $B$ has Property $P$. \textbf{Theorem C.} Let $X$ be a compact metric space and $\{A, B\}$ be a partition of $X$. If $B$ is consonant, then $A$ is a Menger space. Also the author gives the following interesting corollaries: \textbf{Corollary A.} Let $X$ be compact metric space and $\{A, B\}$ be a partition of $X$. Player One has no winning strategy in the game $G_1(O_k(A), O(A))$ if and only if $B$ is consonant. \textbf{Corollary B.} Let $B$ be a separable metric space. If $B$ is consonant, then $B$ has Property $P$. Player One has no winning strategy in the game $G_1(K(B), S(B))$ if and only if $B$ is consonant.
