The moduli space of smooth ample hypersurfaces in abelian varieties (Q2308297)

The authors characterize smooth ample hypersurfaces in abelian varieties and show that the connected component of the moduli space of smooth ample hypersurfaces of a given polarization type in abelian varieties is irreducible, by use of a powerful result poven by the authors [J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 125, 175--188 (2019; Zbl 1474.14018)]. The connected component consists of these hypersurfaces, plus the smooth iterated univariate coverings of normal type of the same polarization type. The manifolds above also yields a connected component of the open set of Teichmüller space consisting of Kähler complex structures.
