Drazin-star and star-Drazin matrices (Q2309623)

The author introduces new classes of matrices in order to solve some types of matrix equations. She defines the Drazin-star matrix and the star-Drazin matrix of \(A\in\mathbb{C}^{n\times n}\) by \((A^DAA^*)\) and \((A^*AA^D)\), respectively, where \((A^D)\) denotes the Drazin inverse of \((A)\). She gives some characterizations of these classes of matrices and presents representations in terms of blocks of appropriate block matrices, the integral representations, the limit representations and representations based on the full-rank decomposition for Drazin-star and star-Drazin matrices. Finally, she defines and investigates the group-star and star-group as particular cases of Drazin-star and star-Drazin matrices.
