\textit{T. Aktosun} and \textit{V. G. Papanicolaou} [Inverse Probl. 30, No. 7, Article ID 075001, 23 p. (2014; Zbl 1305.34145)] have proved that the potential $q$ of the system \begin{gather*} -\psi'' + q \psi 6 = \lambda \psi, \quad -\psi''_0 = \lambda \psi_0, \\ \psi'(0) = h \psi(0), \quad \psi'_0(0) = h \psi_0(0), \\ \psi_0(1) = \psi(1), \quad \psi'_0(1) = \psi'(1) \end{gather*} is uniquely determined by its eigenvalues, $h$ and a certain constant $\gamma$ appearing in the Hadamard factorization of the characteristic function of this system, and have asked whether the values of $h$ and $\gamma$ are contained in the knowledge of the eigenvalues. The aim of the paper is to give a partial negative answer to this question by showing that there are infinitely many different potentials with the same eigenvalues and $h$.
