The authors introduce and explore a generalization of Figà-Talamanca Herz algebras \(A_p(G)\); see [\textit{C. Herz}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 154, 69--82 (1971; Zbl 0216.15606)]. They indeed replace the classical \(L^p\)-spaces in the definition of \(A_p(G)\) by the Orlicz spaces \(L^\Phi(G)\), where \(\Phi\) is a Young function satisfying the \(\Delta_2\)-condition. They study some functorial properties of the introduced algebras \(A_\Phi(G)\). In addition, they investigate means on the dual of the Orlicz Figà-Talamanca Herz algebras and show that the set of invariant means is nonempty. Finally, they study the cardinality of the set of invariant means.
