The paper under reviews studies various algebraic properties of infinite partial Brauer monoids and their submonoids. The main emphasis is on the questions related to generation by idempotents and one- or two-sided units for eight monoids associated to partial Brauer monoids. The main results of the paper describe the relative ranks (that is the minimal number of additional generators) of each of these monoids modulo any other contained in it. This is then applied to determine the Sierpinski rank of each monoid and determine which of these monoids have the semigroup Bergman property.
