Maximal \(d\)-elements of an algebraic frame (Q2314429)

The study is in the context of \(M\)-frames, namely those algebraic frames possessing the finite intersection property. The authors investigate a number of properties of maximal \(d\)-elements of these \(M\)-frames, including their relations with ultrafilters of the set of the so-called polars (namely, pseudocomplements) of the compact elements of a given \(M\)-frame. They also establish that the set of all minimal prime elements of a given complemented \(M\)-frame is identical to that of its maximal \(d\)-elements.
