Weak \(Z\)-property of the absolute order on groups generated by sets closed under taking inverses (Q2314430)

The author proves a result that implies that the absolute order satisfies a weaker version of the Z-property. The weak Z-property. Assume that \((G,R)\) is a pair satisfying certain properties and that \(\leq_R\) is its corresponding absolute order. Suppose that \(g,h \in G\) and \(r \in R\) with \(g \leq_ R r^{-1}g\) and \(rh \leq_R h\). Under these assumptions, the author establishes a number of consequences.
