The author adapts a method of H. Kneser (cf. [\textit{T. Radó}, Jahresber. Dtsch. Math.-Ver. 35, 123--124 (1926; JFM 52.0498.03)]) in order to receive harmonic diffeomorphisms from the unit disc \(B\) onto stable Riemannian domains \(\Omega\). By the method presented in the paper in order to show univalency and to obtain a diffeomorphism between the domains, one can dispense of the uniqueness for the associate Dirichlet problem. A crucial role is played by the notion of stable Riemannian domains, possessing a family of non intersecting geodesic rays emanating from each point of the boundary and provide a simple covering of the domain. Moreover, the author proves a convex hull property for harmonic mappings within \(\Omega\).
