In parallel to the classical theory of Hardy spaces, related with the Laplace operator, there are other theories, related with various differential operators. One of them is that related with the Bessel operator. The authors provide the weak factorization of the Hardy spaces $H^p$ in the Bessel setting, with $p\in(\frac{2\lambda+1}{2\lambda+2}, 1]$, where $\lambda$ is a parameter defining the Bessel operator. As a corollary they obtain a characterization of the boundedness of the commutator with a symbol of Hölder smoothness.
