As the main result, the authors derive a time scale version of the Hardy-type inequality from [\textit{A. Čižmešija} and \textit{M. Krnić}, ``A strengthened form of a general Hardy-type inequality obtained via superquadraticity and its applications'', Int. J. Pure Appl. Math. 86, No. 2, 257--282, (2013; \url{doi:10.12732/ijpam.v86i2.3})], which reads as follows: Let \((\Omega_1,\sum_1,\mu_1)\) and \((\Omega_2,\sum_2,\mu_2)\) be two time scale measure spaces with positive \(\sigma\)-finite measures and let \(u:\Omega_1\to\mathbb{R}\) and \(k:\Omega_1\times\Omega_2\to\mathbb{R}\) be nonnegative functions such that \(k(x,\cdot)\) is \(\mu_2\)-integrable for every \(x\in\Omega_2\). Further, suppose that \[ 0<K(x):=\int_{\Omega_2} k(x,y)\,\Delta\mu_2(y)<\infty,\quad x\in\Omega_1 \] and \[ v(y):=\left(\int_{\Omega_1} u(x)\,\left(\frac{k(x,y)}{K(x)}\right)^r \Delta\mu_1(x)\right)^{\frac{1}{r}}<\infty, \quad y\in\Omega_2, \] where \(r\geq1\). If \(\Phi:[0,\infty)\to\mathbb{R}\) is a nonnegative continuous superquadratic function, then the inequality \begin{align*} &\int_{\Omega_1} u(x)\,\Phi^r(A_k\,f(x))\,\Delta\mu_1(x)\\ &\hspace*{15mm}+r\,\int_{\Omega_1}\int_{\Omega_2} u(x)\,\frac{k(x,y)}{K(x)}\,\Phi^{r-1}(A_k\,f(x))\, \Phi(|f(y)-A_k\,f(x)|)\,\Delta\mu_1(x)\,\Delta\mu_2(y)\\ &\hspace*{30mm}\leq\Big(v(y)\,\Phi(f(y))\,\Delta\mu_2(y)\Big)^r \end{align*} holds for every nonnegative \(\Delta\mu_2\)-integrable function \(f:\Omega_2\to\mathbb{R}\) and for \(A_k\,f:\Omega_1\to\mathbb{R}\) given by \[ A_k\,f(x):=\frac{1}{K(x)}\,\int_{\Omega_2} k(x,y)\,f(x)\,\Delta\mu_2(y),\quad x\in\Omega_1. \] If \(0<r<1\) and \(\Phi\) is subquadratic, then the inequality sign is reversed. Subsequently, the attention is focused on several special cases of this inequality including Pólya-Knopp-type and Hardy-Hilbert-type inequalities. Throughout the paper, we can find several remarks concerning a connection between present results and existing literature in the case with the time scale equal to \(\mathbb{R}\). Unfortunately, the discrete case is omitted.
