The author considers the following Emden-Fowler type differential equation \[ y^{(n)}=p(x,y,y',\dots, y^{(n-1)})|y|^k \operatorname{sign}y, \ \ x\in \mathbb{R}, \ \ n\in \mathbb{N}, \ \ n\geq2,\ \ k\in(0,+\infty)\backslash \{1 \}.\tag{1} \] Here, the function \(p:\mathbb{R}^{(n+1)}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) is jointly continuous in all the variables, satisfies the inequalities \( m\leq p(x,\xi_1,\xi_2,\dots, \xi_n)\leq M\) with some positive \(m\) and \(M\), and is Lipschitz continuous in the variables \(\xi_1,\xi_2,\dots, \xi_n.\) The equation \[ y^{(n)}=p_0|y|^k \operatorname{sign} y, \ n\geq2,\ \ k\in(0,+\infty)\backslash \{1 \}, \ \ p_0\in \mathbb{R} \backslash \{0 \},\tag{2} \] as a special case of equation (1) if \(p_0>0\), is considered too. The article consists of 5 sections and references. The first section is devoted to general introduction into the problem and to the formulation of the purpose of the research. The investigation of {the asymptotic behavior of singular solutions of equations (1) and (2) near the boundary of their existence intervals and near the point where the uniqueness of solutions is violated} forms the goal of the article. The second section has an introductory character. The theorem about asymptotic behavior of any positive solutions of the equation (1) under some conditions on the function \(p\) in cases \(n>4\),\(k\in(1,K), K>1\), that has been proved by the author before is formulated there. Then the definition of {\(n\)-positive at some point solution} of equation (1) is introduced, two conditions under which {the set of Cauchy data of asymptotically power-law solutions of the equation (2) has Lebesgue measure zero for each initial point} are formulated. In the third section two results are represented showing that asymptotic representations of {nonpower-law behavior of singular solutions of the equation (2)} can also describe oscillating solutions of this equation if \(h\) is a sign-alternating periodic function that have been proved before. In the fourth section, the author formulates and proves the main results of the article. For \(k\in(0,1)\) the asymptotic behavior of so called {right maximal solution of the equation (1)} is found. In the last section of the article, the author gives the definition of a maximally unique solution of the differential equation. Then there is given the classification of maximally unique solutions of the equation (1) in cases \(n=3\) and \(n=4\). In my opinion the results presented in the article are very important for the further study of asymptotic representations of solutions of \(n\)-th order differential equations. The results are new, actual, entirely proved.
