Summary: Let \(T > 1\) be an integer, and let \(\mathbb{T} = \left\{1,2, \ldots, T\right\}\). We discuss the spectrum of discrete linear second-order eigenvalue problems \(\Delta^2 u \left(t - 1\right) + \lambda m \left(t\right) u \left(t\right) = 0, t \in \mathbb{T}\), \(u \left(0\right) = u \left(T + 1\right) = 0\), where \(\lambda \neq 0\) is a parameter, \(m : \mathbb{T} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) changes sign and \(m \left(t\right) \neq 0\) on \(\mathbb{T}\). At last, as an application of this spectrum result, we show the existence of sign-changing solutions of discrete nonlinear second-order problems by using bifurcate technique.
