The perturbation of a system with some expanding properties is considered within the setting of \textit{G. Keller} and \textit{C. Liverani} [Ann. Sc. Norm. Super. Pisa, Cl. Sci., IV. Ser. 28, No. 1, 141--152 (1999; Zbl 0956.37003)]. The spectral properties of the corresponding twisted transfer operators are investigated and the existence of a central limit theorem and a large deviation principle are proved. The authors consider analytic perturbations of quasi-compact operators with a simple leading eigenvalue and construct a quasi-compact decomposition. If the continuity of the perturbed operator is controlled by a function \(\tau(\epsilon)\), where \(\epsilon\) is a parameter, then the eigenvalues and eigenprojections are controlled by a power of of the function \(\tau\), i.e., these have Hölder continuity. Further, the variance for the central limit theorem and the rate function for the large deviation estimates are also Hölder continuous for the perturbation. As applications of the theoretical results, the authors consider piecewise expanding interval maps and piecewise expanding maps in higher dimension.
