In this paper, the author introduces a new family of symmetrically physical (SP) strain tensors, which can be generated based on a set of five scale functions (including the scale functions generating Lagrangian strain tensors and their Eulerian correspondents). The new family of SP strain tensors and work-conjugate stress tensors generate five SPH models of isotropic hyperelastic materials (with Hill's linear relations). Each of the five models are tested to the simple elongation and simple shear problems, while a comparative study of the solutions of these problems is provided.
