The author studies the uniqueness of solutions to degenerate initial parabolic problems of the type \[ \begin{cases} u_t=\operatorname{div} (a(x,t)\nabla u) +f & \text{ in } \Omega\times(0,T]\\ u(x,0)=u_0 & \text{ in } \Omega \end{cases} \] in a bounded domain \(\Omega\) with a regular boundary and coefficients \(a(x,t)\) which tand to zero when \(x\to\partial\Omega.\) The uniqueness of the solution is obtained imposing suitable integral condition on \(u.\) In addition, the author discusses the existence of bounded and unbounded solutions in case of homogeneous equation \((f\equiv 0)\) and in case of initial-boundary value problem.
