General convergence results for some sequences of positive linear operators are obtained. As a natural completion of these results, the full asymptotic evaluation for some sequences of positive linear operators is given. As application, the full asymptotic evaluations for Cesàro and Volterra type operators are deduced. Finally, other results of the same kind for multivariate positive linear operators are proved, and can be applied to finding the asymptotic evaluations for various kinds of Cesàro and Volterra type multivariate operators.
