Let \(\mathrm{PG}(2,q)\) be the projective plane over the finite field \(\mathbb{F}_q\). A \(KM_{q,t}\)-arc in \(\mathrm{PG}(2,q)\) is a set \(S\) of \(q + t\) points in \(\mathrm{PG}(2,q)\) for which every projective line meets \(S\) in either \(0\), \(2\) or \(t\) points. It is known that \(KM_{q,t}\)-arcs exist only if \(q\) is even and \(t | q\); see [\textit{G. Korchmáros} and \textit{F. Mazzocca}, Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 108, No. 3, 445--459 (1990; Zbl 0716.51010)]. Also, all \(t\)-secants of a \(KM_{q,t}\)-arc \(S\) with \(t > 2\) are concurrent at a point outside \(S\), which is called the nucleus; see [\textit{A. Gács} and \textit{Z. Weiner}, Des. Codes Cryptography 29, No. 1--3, 131--139 (2003; Zbl 1029.51011)]. The definition of \(KM\)-arcs can be extended to non-Desarguesian planes. In this paper, the author constructs an infinite family of \(KM\)-arcs in Hall planes; several examples of \(KM\)-arcs with non-concurrent \(t\)-secants are provided, showing that, in general, the concurrency property of the \(t\)-secants does not holds in non-Desarguesian planes. Finally, a classification of all \(KM\)-arcs in the known projective planes of order \(16\) is given.
