Inequalities for eigenvalues of fourth order elliptic operators in divergence form on Riemannian manifolds (Q2326018)

The paper under review is concerned with the study of eigenvalue problems associated to linear fourth order elliptic operators in divergence form with Dirichlet boundary condition. The analysis is developed in the framework of bounded domains in a compact Riemannian manifolds with boundary. The main result establishes a general inequality for eigenvalues. In the final part of this paper, by using this inequality, the authors study eigenvalues of this operator on compact domains of complete submanifolds in a Euclidean space.
