This very interesting paper is concerned the stochastic porous media equations with Stratonovich gradient noise -- in particular is focused on the asymptotic behavior of solution. The existence of a distributional solution is proved by using the Yosida approximation, used also for porous media equations with multiplicative noise in [\textit{V. Barbu} et al., Stochastic porous media equations. Cham: Springer (2016; Zbl 1355.60004)]. Asymptotic results are given for two important particular examples: fast diffusion and self-organized criticality. The standard model of diffusion of a gas through a porous media is a particular case. Some used methods are given in [\textit{V. Barbu} et al., C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 347, No. 1--2, 81--84 (2009; Zbl 1156.60040)], where the multiplicative noise case is studied. The construction of the approximating problem and its properties are given by using the Krylov-Rozovskii theorem and Ito's formula. The existence and uniqueness of the solution are obtained by using that the sequence of approximate solutions is a Cauchy sequence in a specific Lebesgue space. Some estimates for different terms in the considered equation are given. Some open interesting problems are pointed out in the Conclusion.
