This paper deals with strong \(L^2\) solutions of \[ \begin{cases} F(D^2u)= \chi_\Omega\quad \text{a.e. in }B^+_1\\ u=0\quad \text{on }B_1'\end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(F\) is convex \(C^1\) fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic operator in \(\mathbb{R}^2\), \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^2\) is an a priori unknown open set, the free boundary is \(\Gamma= \partial\Omega\cap B^+_1\), and \(B_1'= \{x_2= 0\}\cap\overline B^+_1\). Then \(u\) satisfies (1) in viscosity sense. The author proves that non-transversal intersection of the free and fixed boundary holds and proposes a classification of blow up solutions. To be more precise, at first the blow up limit \(u_0\) is defined of the sequence of solutions \(\{u_j\}\) of (1) as \(\lim_{k\to\infty}\frac{u_{j_k}(s_kx)}{s^2_k}\), where \(s_k\to +0\). Supposing \(0\in\overline{\{u\ne 0\}}\), \(\nabla u(0)= 0\) it is shown that \(u_0= ax_1x_2+bx_2^2\); \(a,b\in\mathbb{R}\).
