The paper deals with the uniqueness of solutions for Dirichlet problems of type \[ -\operatorname{div} a(x,u,\nabla u)= f \varphi \; \text{ in } \Omega, \quad u=0 \; \text{ on } \partial \Omega, \; \tag{1} \] where \(\varphi\) denotes the density of the \(N\)-dimensional Gauss measure \(\gamma\) and the open set \(\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N\) is with \(\gamma (\Omega) <1\). It is assumed that the Carathéodory mapping \(a\) fulfills some appropriate conditions ensuring that the operator \(u \mapsto -\operatorname{div} a(x,u,\nabla u)\) is pseudomonotone and coercive on the weighted Sobolev space \(W_0^{1,p}(\Omega, \gamma)\) with \(1< p < \infty\) -- these guarantee the solvability of (1) for \(f\) belonging to the Zygmund space \(L^{p'}(\log L)^{-\frac{1}{2}}(\Omega, \gamma)\). The main results provide strong monotonicity and Lipschitz continuity conditions on \(a\) ensuring the uniqueness of the weak solutions of (1). Some examples and counterexamples are discussed.
