The authors investigate uniformly locally attractive solutions in the space \(BC(\mathbb{R}_+) \) of all real defined, bounded and continuous functions on \(\mathbb{R}_+\), for the following nonlinear Volterra integral equation of convolution type \[ x(t)=g(t,x(t)) + (Ax)(t)\int_0^tk(t-s)u(t,s,x(s))ds,\quad t\geq 0, \] where \(k \in C(0,\infty)\cap L^1_{\mathrm{loc}} (\mathbb{R}_+)\) is a scalar kernel, and \(A:BC(\mathbb{R}_+ ) \to BC(\mathbb{R}_+)\), \(g\) and \(u\) satisfy suitable hypotheses. First the study is devoted to preliminaries, recalling the definition of uniformly locally attractive solution. The authors also recall the Schauder fixed point theorem in the context of Hausdorff topological vector spaces. Then the authors show the existence of at least one uniformly locally attractive solution in the space \(BC(\mathbb{R}_+)\) by using an application of the ABS fixed point theorem and the method of measures of non compactness. Finally, the authors give a concrete example considering \[ (Ax)(t)= c\sin x(t),\;\;\;g(t,s)=\frac{t \arctan(t+ts)}{2+3t^2} \] \[ u(t,s,r) = \frac{\arctan |r|}{(1+t^2+s)^\gamma },\;\;\;\gamma >0 \] and the coupling of the Maxwell and power type materials, in the following kernel \[ k(t)=\frac{1}{\Gamma(\alpha)}t^{\alpha-1}e^{-\beta t}\cos(\delta t), \;\;\;\delta \in \mathbb{R},\ \beta \geq 0 , \ \alpha>0 \] assuming additionally that \( 0< \alpha < 2\gamma\) and \[ c<\frac{3(2\gamma)^\gamma\Gamma(\alpha+1)}{ 16\alpha^\alpha/2(2\gamma-\alpha)^\gamma-\alpha/2}. \] This example reveals the existence of a link between the size of \( A\) measured by the number \( c \), the size of \( A\) measured by the number \( \gamma \) and the functional order of the kernel \(k(t)\).
