Consider the planar polynomial system \[\frac{dx}{dt}= y,\quad \frac{dy}{dt}=- x+\prod^k_{i=1} (x^2+ y^2- r^2_i),\tag{\(\ast\)}\] where the parameters \(r_i\) satisfying \(0<r_1<r_2<\cdots< r_k\). The authors prove that system \((\ast)\) has a unique equilibrium point in the interior of the circle \(x^2+ y^2= r^2_1\), and this equilibrium point is a center. Additionally they determine the phase portrait in the Poincaré desc of \((*)\) for \(k=1,2,3\).
