Let \(H\) be a closed subgroup of a topological group and let \(\psi(x)=xH\) for each \(x\in G\). Then the quotient space \(G/H=\{xH: x\in G\}\) is equipped with the topology which consists of all subsets \(U\) of \(G/H\) such that \(\psi^{-1}(U)\) is open in \(G\). The space \(G/H\) is called a coset space. If \(H\) is a compact subgroup of \(G\), then \(G/H\) is called a compactly-fibered coset space. All spaces in this article are assumed to be Tychonoff. The set-theoretic framework is \(ZFC\). Given an infinite cardinal number \(\tau\), a space \(X\) is called \(\tau\)-cellular if every family \(\mathcal{F}\) of \(G_{\tau}\)-sets in \(X\) contains a subfamily \(\mathcal{P}\) such that \(\vert \mathcal{P}\vert\leq\tau\) and \(\bigcup\mathcal{P}\) is dense in \(\bigcup\mathcal{F}\). The Nagami number \(Nag(X)\) of a space \(X\) is the smallest cardinal number \(\kappa\) such that there exists a collection \(\mathcal{P}\) of closed subsets of the Čech-Stone compactification \(\beta X\) of \(X\) such that \(\vert\mathcal{P}\vert=\kappa\) and, for every \(x\in X\) and every \(y\in\beta X\setminus X\), there exists \(P\in\mathcal{P}\) such that \(x\in P\) and \(y\notin P\). Among other results, the following are proved: (i) if a compactly-fibered coset space is locally paracompact (resp., locally metacompact, locally subparacompact), then it is paracompact (resp., metacompact, subparacompact); (ii) for every infinite cardinal \(\tau\), if \(X\) is a compactly-fibered coset space such that \(Nag(X)\leq\tau\), then \(X\) is \(\tau\)-cellular and, for every family \(\mathcal{F}\) of \(G_{\tau}\)-sets in \(X\), the closure of \(\bigcup\mathcal{F}\) is also a \(G_{\tau}\)-set in \(X\); (iii) if \(\tau\) is an infinite cardinal and \(X=\prod_{i\in I}X_i\) where, for each \(i\in I\), \(X_i\) is a compactly-fibered coset space such that \(Nag(X_i)\leq\tau\), then \(X\) is \(\tau\)-cellular; (iv) for every compactly-fibered coset space \(X\), the character of \(X\) is equal to the \(\pi\)-character of \(X\); (v) if \(X\) is a compactly-fibered coset space and \(bX\) is a Hausdorff compactification of \(X\), then \(bX\setminus X\) has the Baire property or is \(\sigma\)-compact. Furthermore, for every Hausdorff compactification \(bX\) of a compactly-fibered coset space \(X\) such that \(X\) is not locally compact, the following results are obtained: (vi) \(bX\setminus X\) is locally a \(p\)-space if and only if \(X\) is either \(\sigma\)-compact or a Lindelöf \(p\)-space; (vii) if \(I\) is a countable set and \(bX\setminus X=\bigcup_{i\in I}X_i\) where, for every \(i\in I\), the subspace \(X_i\) of the remainder \(bX\setminus X\) is metrizable (or is developable, or has a point-countable base), then \(X\) is either metrizable or a Čech-complete paracompact \(p\)-space, and \(X\) is metrizable if \(I\) is finite.
