The author studies a meromorphic solution at the origin of the degenerate third Painlevé (dP3) equation \[\, u''(\tau)=\frac{(u'(\tau))^2}{u(\tau)}-\frac{u'(\tau)}{\tau}+\frac{1}{\tau} (-8 \epsilon u^2(\tau) + 2 a b) + \frac{b^2}{u(\tau)},\qquad \epsilon=+1,\,\,a=b, \,\] which vanishes at the origin. In particular, he proves that, for all \(a \notin i\,\mathbb{Z}/2\), there exists such a unique solution. In the case \(a - i/2 \in i\,\mathbb{Z}\), he proves that there exists a unique odd meromorphic solution of the dP3 equation vanishing at the origin. In addition, the author gives the Taylor expansion of the odd solution at the origin, as well as the asymptotic expansions at its singular points \(a\in i\,\mathbb{Z}\) and \(a=\infty\). He also presents the asymptotics of this odd solution as \(\tau \rightarrow +\infty\).
